Julie Klotz, originally from Aurora, Colorado, found her passion for education after pursuing a Psychology degree at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Following her passion, she moved to Chicago where she obtained her Master’s Degree in Special Education while teaching for eight years. In 2022, Julie returned to her roots in Denver to be close to her family. Currently, she works as a middle school teacher in DPS, where she enjoys fostering a love for reading in her students. Julie’s committed to nurturing lifelong learners and loves watching her students grow. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and finding new parks with her puppy. Julie is very excited to continue her passion for teaching at Izzi B!
