Research has shown how instrumental attendance is to the success of students, both academically as well as in regards to their social emotional wellbeing. When those day arise where you student must miss school, please take these steps:

Notifying your student’s teacher is helpful, but please do not forget to also notify attendance as well. Always remember when submitting an absence, a reason for the absence must be listed. If a reason is not given, it will automatically be coded as an unexcused absence.
