Brenna Leonard is joining the Izzi B team for the 24-25 school year. She will be a part of the 4th grade team as the English Language Arts teacher. Before making the big move to Colorado, she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduation, she continued working at the school she student taught at, first as a third grade teacher for six years and then as the Academically and Intellectually Gifted facilitator for two. In her time in North Carolina, Brenna also received her add-on license for English as a Second Language and Gifted Education. In her free time, she enjoys working out at Orangetheory, taking her dog Mya on long walks, and finding new coffee shops to curl up with a good book at! She is so excited to meet the Izzi B community and work alongside students and families to continue to cultivate a love for learning.
