Hello First Grade Families! Casey is so excited to be joining the Izzi B family this year. This will be her 13th year in the classroom, and her 6th in DPS. She has taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, ELD (English Language Development) and Reading Intervention. Integrating the science of reading with the JOY of reading is her biggest priority for your child this year.
She has her bachelors in History from CU Boulder and my Masters in Teaching from Montclair State University. When she is not geeking out over Literacy, this Jersey girl loves to do things all Colorado-hike, camp, ski and hang with her dog, Wilson. She is so looking forward to getting to know you and your family this upcoming school year!
