This is Claire’s second year as a paraprofessional at Isabella Bird. She is studying at UNC Center for Urban Education to become an elementary teacher. She was born and raised in Colorado with her sister, dog, Griffin, and parents. She was born on Pi Day and, incidentally, enjoys pie. She has been working with kids since she was 16, starting as a summer camp teen volunteer at the Museum of Nature and Science, and has enjoyed working with them ever since.
Claire’s hobbies include reading, spending time outside, and various art activities. Her favorite colors are aquamarine and lavender. Her favorite childhood book was Everything on a Waffle by Polly Horvath.
