Jennifer Monson has been teaching for 24 years and has taught all elementary grades except kindergarten. The majority of her experience is in ECE. She’s incredibly passionate about inquiry-based learning and creating lifelong learners. She is a bilingual educator and believes in the inherent value of bilingual education. Believing that every child has strengths that are uniquely theirs to share with the world, she helps students do this by developing their physical, social and emotional, and academic skills in a nurturing, safe environment. She partners with families (as their child’s first teachers) through two way communication, family meetings and class and school events. Her goal includes providing an environment where children are seen and supported for who they are, as well as learning about all the other cultures in this amazing world of ours. Outside of school, she loves traveling, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family. She has a husband, Daniel, and a daughter who is 9 years old.
