Jodie Buczak, our dedicated one-on-one Special Education Paraprofessional, whose vibrant approach brings joy and growth to each student she supports. Fueled by her robust educational background in Behavioral Neuroscience, Anatomy and Physiology, Human Development, and Sensory Perception—completed during the eventful 2020 pandemic—Jodie channels her knowledge into fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Jodie’s role involves providing key scaffolding to help students grasp new concepts while gracefully stepping back to promote their independence. She seamlessly weaves fun into education, understanding that learning becomes truly accessible when it’s also enjoyable.

Take, for example, a memorable day in her first-grade class. To instill hygiene practices, Jodie introduced her plush COVID-19 virus and organized a lively game of Hot Potato. Through such innovative methods, she teaches essential lessons while keeping students engaged and entertained.

With a blend of silliness and seriousness, Jodie is all about encouraging her students to develop a genuine love for learning. Her passion and enthusiasm are infectious, spreading through the classroom and beyond, making her an invaluable part of our school community.
