Jordyn Walker is a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). She has been a part of the Izzi B community since 2021 as their School Social Worker and is excited to be able to be full-time with this amazing community.

Jordyn received her Bachelors in Creative Writing and Social Work, and her Masters in Social Work at Salisbury University. After graduation, Jordyn returned to her hometown in the DC area and spent 2 years working as an Assistant Teacher at a Montessori school in DC, before becoming a School Social Worker at a Special Education School for students 6-22 in 2019.

When, Jordyn moved to Denver, she felt passionately about moving towards more preventative work, which brought her to DPS and Izzi B! She loves promoting and utilizing an anti-racist lens to mental health and working with children in education.

In her spare time, Jordyn loves traveling to visit friends and going out to try different restaurants! However, she spends most of her time reading, recommending, and buying books (which are all very different hobbies).
