After growing up in New Orleans, Kelly went on to earn a BS in Biology/Pre-medicine from Seattle University and a business certificate from Cornell. She began her career in pediatric medical research and later transitioned to regional management of a large medical company. In 2010, Kelly moved to Kona, Hawaii where her two kids were born and raised until relocating to Denver in late 2018. Both her kids attend Izzi B, and after spending lots of time as a parent volunteer, Kelly jumped at the chance to join the team as a health technician. Kelly is fluent in sarcasm and spends her spare time taking road trips, working on photography, reading, and dragging her kids and dog on long mountain hikes.
