It is Kris’ privilege and honor to serve as the assistant principal at Izzi B. This marks Kris’ twenty-first year in education. Throughout her educational career, she has had the great pleasure of working at both the elementary and secondary level serving as a teacher, school psychologist, school counselor, and school leader. In addition, she has been fortunate to fulfill these roles in various states, including Idaho, Michigan, Wisconsin and now Colorado. No matter the role in education, Kris always return to her core belief that ALL students can learn. She is committed to fostering an inclusive, safe educational environment where EVERY Student Succeeds. Kris looks forward to making a positive impact towards equity and excellence at Izzi B and collaborating with the staff and families to ensure that all students continue to grow academically, emotionally, and socially. Outside of school, she can be found exploring the outdoors with her dogs, Banjo & Ruby, hiking, kayaking, skiing, camping, traveling, and enjoying bluegrass music. Izzi B is truly a special place to be and Kris is so thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of this community!
