This year marks Noelle’s eleventh year in education, eight of those at Izzi B! During the last 4 years Noelle has taught math intervention, third grade, and collaborates with teachers. Prior to this, she taught fourth grade for 4 years. She earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction  from Middle Tennessee State University, and her Bachelor’s Degree is in Liberal Studies Teacher Preparation with a minor in Germanic Studies from Chapman University. Prior to teaching at Izzi B, she taught second grade in Rifle, CO and fourth grade in Nashville, TN. Outside of school, she loves Colorado activities; hiking, camping, paddleboarding, and traveling. Any hike she takes, typically, has to include a lake, waterfall, or ocean! This year, a goal Noelle has is to learn Spanish. She currently lives in Aurora with her amazing furbaby (and maybe Dingo), Berlin. A motto that really resonates with Noelle is from the African Philosophy “I am because we are,” because community is extremely important.
